this is a really awesome photo. i never really noticed all those small nuances of the human eye or the transitions between the different parts. when i first saw the smaller version of the picture in the main gallery i thought you photoshoped the iris to look like there were trees in it. simply wonderful.

I can't get enough of macro eye shots like this. This has got to be one of the top three ever. It's just so interesting to see things like this up close! Awesome and lovely shot. :)
